This girl was abused by 5 sets of adoptive parents.

Her father wanted a boy and reminds her of that every day.

He had to raise his 6 younger siblings without help from his convict dad or alcoholic mom.

This girl was forced to watch her friend get raped. ....by a police officer.

This girl has cancer, but hasn't told anyone.

He was in the car with his dad when they were hit by a drunk driver. His dad is now a quadroplegic.

This girl missed 7 weeks of school and nobody noticed.

He cheats for good grades, so that his father won't beat him.

She has never said "I love you" to her parents.

He saw his friend's 2 year old brother beatten to death, when he was only 5 years old.

She has attempted suicide.

Are these stories true? Did these events actually occur to these people? Does it matter?

Everyone has a story. Everyone has had something happen in their life. Whether you know it, whether you understand it isn't the issue. It's whether you accept it and choose not to judge. They say "You can't judge anyone until you've walked a mile in their shoes." But even if you have, you still can't judge. Every person is different. Every person deals with things differently. It's what makes us who we are. But if we continue to judge others without understanding the full picture, we're ruining ourselves. We're ruining the world. And it's possibly we're furthering their damage.
